A portion of 1 out of 5 ain’t bad, I guess…
Barely a good one to satisfy my horror itch in this batch, which includes torture porn, a creature feature, found footage, aliens, and a horror anthology. ANARCHY PARLOR (2014) I honestly find this to be a pointless piece of torture … Continue reading

A mish mosh of stuff I saw on cable this month
Honestly, I didn’t have the motivation to come up with something more inventive to lump these five together. We have a psycho boy, a werewolf, found footage, a memory invader, and mutants. So let’s get to it. THE BOY (2015) … Continue reading

Re-Kill – found footage action zombie sausagefest!
Props to Re-Kill for cramming together a couple of genres and having a sense of humor in the process. It’s a few years after the zombie outbreak, and a special military force is responsible for going into all overrun areas … Continue reading

STREAM QUEEN 6
Streaming services often remind you that you get what you pay for, thanks to the dozens of bad horror titles they offer. So here are the 3 most recent time killers I checked out. THE HOUSE WITH 100 EYES (2013) … Continue reading
Stream Queen 5: a mish mosh of subgenres
When you’ve streamed every other horror movie out there, are any of these four worth a watch? I take a look. CROWSNEST (2012) Another one to throw on the “everything that’s wrong with found footage horror” pile. Therefore, I shall … Continue reading
Third time is partially a charm
Once again, I suckered myself into picking up a DVD volume of The Hillbilly Horror Show, even though volume 2 was a disappointment (volume 1 blog here, volume 2 blog here). Good news is, the price was pretty good at … Continue reading

3 movies I’ll forget exist if I don’t blog about them
Seems no movie is universally loved in horror these days. But when I see some of the more notable crap being ripped apart, I can’t help wonder if the bashers have seen movies like these…and actually liked them. THE MOORING … Continue reading
Stream queen 3: more horror anthologies
Pretty straightforward. I stream for a horror anthology scream. Did it work? WHERE EVIL LIVES (1991) Nostalgia is all this low-budget film has going for it. It definitely looks like a late 80s/early 90s direct-to-VHS film, so I immediately got … Continue reading
